Prevalence of Eating Behaviors and Their Influence on Metabolic Control of Children With Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus

Background: Since a comprehensive study of eating disorders in children with type 1 diabetes the Iranian population is necessary, this aimed to investigate prevalence behaviors and metabolic control status adolescents mellitus. Objectives: The present cross-sectional aim explore their influence on Methods: In study, all 6 12 years old were included. First, eating-related participants was assessed recorded. Then recorded data statistically analyzed. Results: Mean±SD age 8.92±1.925 years. One hundred food approach scores above 12.29 had food-approach behaviors, 78 avoidance 11.85 classified as having behaviors. relationships between hemoglobin A1C (HbA1c) insulin dose, body mass index (BMI), lipid profile significant (P<0.05).
